Coomera Connector Stage 1

$3.5 billion investment as part of the M1 Pacific Highway Upgrade to connect Commera and Nerang set to ease congestion on the M1 via an alternative route from growing communities at Coomera and Helensvale. First section completed and open to traffic in December 2025.

Hospital

Coomera Public Hospital

Part of a $2.25 billion investment to deliver a 600-bed hospital at Coomera with specialties across medical, surgical, maternity, coronary, and intensive care. Expected to open progressively from 2031.

Train

Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail

$5.75 billion investment to upgrade stations to improve accessibility, remove 5 level crossings, improve Park ‘n’ Ride facilities, and provide a new continuous active travel path connecting stations along the 20-kilometre project corridor.

Heart

Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct

$5 billion 200-hectare Gold Coast Health and Knowledge precinct will be a global business destination aimed to deliver healthcare innovation, new knowledge, and next-generation technologies with proposed completion in 2030.
